Our History
The Rino Sartori Agricultural Company was founded in the early 1970s.
The acquisition, over time, of new vineyards has allowed it to reach an extension of about 160 hectares. With the increase in production, the company is now one of the most important and historic companies in Valpolicella.
The family has handed down the passion for viticulture and winemaking from generation to generation, producing fine Veronese wines, the fruit of ancient traditions and innovative technological solutions. The Cantina, nestled in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica area, is the hub of the business. Here, the grapes are processed immediately after harvesting, while the best ones, destined for drying, are stored for months in fruit lofts and subjected to continuous internal and certification body controls.
The main labels produced are Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Classico, Valpolicella Ripasso DOC Classico Superiore, Valpolicella DOC Classico and Recioto della Valpolicella DOCG Classico. The range also includes Rosso Verona IGT ‘C&G’ and Rosso Veneto IGT ‘C&G’ Passito. We also market Prosecco and Lugana.
For some time now, the company has been pursuing a path towards internationalisation in order to make its products known on the world stage. For this reason, the company has participated and continues to participate in the biggest competitions in the wine sector, obtaining important recognitions that attest to the excellence of Rino Sartori wines, led by the Giammaria Sartori family that have allowed the diffusion of its brand in the European, Asian and American markets. The fruit of this success is also the green soul and spirit of the company, which has always been attentive to eco-sustainability. This is attested to through rigorous agronomic practices in the vineyard, which allow us to obtain SQNPI certification (National Quality System for Integrated Production) and, on a daily basis, through attention to everything that is environmentally sustainable.
