Our awards

The Società Agricola Rino Sartori has grown over time to become one of the most important and historic wineries in Valpolicella. Founded in the 1970s, it immediately established itself in its territory; in recent years, the winery has chosen to open up to internationalisation, seeking to make its products known on the world stage. To do this, it has participated and continues to participate in the biggest competitions in the wine sector.

In 2016, it joined the International Wine & Spirit Competition held in Hong Kong. This fair gave the company the opportunity to get in touch and get to know the needs of Asian customers, who seek the excellence of Valpolicella wine at an excellent quality-price ratio. The wines presented for the occasion were judged by a panel of experts from all the countries of Asia including China, India, Taiwan and Thailand, ensuring a judgement in line with the tastes of Eastern customers.

The success of the 2016 edition prompted Società Agricola Rino Sartori to participate again this year: the fair was held from 9 to 11 November with the hope of reconfirming the results achieved last year.

The participation at the International Wine & Spirit in London in 2016 confirmed the strong personality of Rino Sartori wine as a product born from the passion for viticulture and winemaking that the Sartori family has always handed down from generation to generation. Here, too, there was no shortage of important awards.

In 2017, the company decided to propose its product selection in Spain, which together with France, represents one of the competing markets for Italian wine. The event made it possible to inform consumers, both experts and non-experts, from all over the world about the quality of Veronese wine and to strengthen the image of quality, tradition and innovation that can be found in every glass of wine produced in Valpolicella.

Thanks to these events, Società Agricola Rino Sartori not only aims to expand its sales to a wider territory than the one in which it already operates, but also wants to convey, first and foremost, its values, its love for its land and its work, which are the basis of its success.

2018 also opened with great recognition for the company.

The wines Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Classico 2014 and Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Classico ‘Dinnay’ 2013 were awarded 88 and 91 respectively following a tasting in Germany. The results were published in the German bimonthly Meiningers Weinwelt last January.

The Valpolicella Ripasso DOC Classico Superiore 2014 was also reviewed with a score of 92 by Falstaff magazine in its February/March issue of this year.

But Società Agricola Sartori Rino continues to submit its products to expert analysis, and this has resulted in another award: an award obtained by joining the Mundus Vini initiative.
